Selo Energia Helps New Talents Grow
Hailing from Poronin, Marysia Chyc is a talented athlete on the national alpine snowboarding team. She began her adventure with this sport at the age of 15, and thanks to her talent and hard work, she has secured a strong position in Polish snowboarding. She is a graduate of the School of Sports Championship in Zakopane and already has an impressive track record of successes. Marysia is known for her determination and passion, which drive her to achieve increasingly better results. Her commitment to training and relentless pursuit of excellence mean that she constantly raises the bar for both herself and her rivals.
Marysia has been collecting medals and accolades at various levels of competition for years. Her dream is to win a medal at the Winter Olympic Games in Italy in 2026. This year, her efforts are supported by Selo Energia, with whom she has signed a sponsorship agreement. Thanks to this cooperation, it will be easier for her to endure the hardships of preparing for upcoming competitions and to achieve peak athletic form.
Marysia's notable achievements to date include:
- 5th place at the World Junior Championships in parallel giant slalom
- 6th place at the World University Championships in parallel giant slalom
- 4th place at the European Cup in parallel giant slalom
Marysia has also gathered a substantial collection of medals from the Polish Championships and numerous international events.
January 2, 2023: Marysia won two bronze medals at the Polish Snowboard Championships in the giant slalom and parallel giant slalom events. This is a wonderful start to the year and a promising sign ahead of future starts. Congratulations from the entire Selo Energia team!
January 16, 2023: She took 6th place at the World Cup in Italy in the parallel slalom. This is further proof that she is in great shape and can compete with the best in the world. We congratulate her and keep our fingers crossed for the next competitions!
2024: Marysia's most recent success is winning a gold medal at the Polish University Championships (AMP). The competition was originally supposed to take place in Szczawnica, but due to weather conditions, it was moved to Białka. Despite the harsh conditions on the course, Marysia showed her class and stood on the highest step of the podium.
